Is the Gulf Oil Spill Good for the Green Economy?
Tuesday, May 25th, 2010, 2 PM (EST)
About This Week's Show
The BP Gulf oil spill is hurting fragile ecosystems, wildlife, and the environment at large. But wait, there's more...for only 2 million gallons of oil a day, we'll throw in the entire Gulf fishing industry, a multi-billion dollar Gulf coast - (maybe even the East coast) tourist industry, and a big bottle of Dawn liquid dish soap in case BP's CEO gets too greasy for congress to touch.
What does all this mean for the green economy? Is it good, or is it bad? Will it be a wake-up call for the world, or just another quickly forgotten newspaper seller? Join us and find out.
